Barren River Lake

Barren River Lake (Allen County) There are many historical features and sites to visit and explore. In the 1960s the dam was built for area flood control covering 20,150 acres at maximum flood control pool. Come and visit the warm season native grass fields and view what historically was the landscape in Allen and Barren County. Barren River Lake has four campgrounds offering casual camping, hiking, fishing, boating, hunting, biking, birding, or just sitting back and enjoying the scenery. There are four boat ramps/recreational locations in Allen County: Brown's Ford. Bailey's Point, Walnut Creek and Port Oliver.

Dugas Park

Dugas Park provides nature and hiking trails, an outdoor amphitheatre, playgrounds and more. It is the historical site of Dumont Hill.

Public Spring

A historic landmark, in the early days the Public Spring was the all important center of activity. It's refreshing cold water flowing steadily from the base of a steep hill, surrounded by large oak and elm trees.

River Bend Blooms Flower Farm & AirBNB

We are a family farm adding beauty to the world with our fresh cut flowers and foliage. We offer bouquet subscriptions, flowers by the bucket for DIY events, a mobile flower truck, and special events and workshops at the farm. We also have two AirBNB properties on our farm.
